Applicants for the Certificate in Water Conflict Management and Transformation should:

1. Apply for admissions to Oregon State University - Graduate School, by following instructions provided under Step 1. Application to Oregon State University; and

2. Submit a cover letter requesting admission to the Certificate Program, the letter should provide a statement of objectives and noteworthy particulars. This should be sent to:

Current Graduate Students

Applicants already in OSU Graduate School, planning on pursuing the Graduate Certificate in Water Conflict Management and Transformation should:

Seek advisor guidance and approval by contacting Lynette de Silva via e-mail at desilval@geo.oregonstate.edu. This is required for each student's certificate program of study. In fact, it is highly recommended that you meet with Lynette during your first term on campus.

Graduate applicants from other universities should:

Follow the directions for "Applicants for the Certificate in Water Conflict Management and Transformation," above. If the intent is to also use the credits earned at OSU towards a graduate degree, it is recommend that you determine the policy of your current program, before planning to transfer courses.

Course Participation by Students Not Seeking the Graduate Certificate

If you are not pursuing the certificate, and do not wish to apply to the graduate program, but are interested in taking individual classes that are part of the Water Conflict Management and Transformation curriculum, you may apply for Non-degree Graduate Status. It is highly recommended that non-degree graduate status students familiarize themselves with the Graduate Admission Policy as it pertains to non-degree graduate status students.
